Holy Name RC Primary School — Front Extension

“Clarke Lambert have completed phase 1&2 of a project at Holy Name throughout 2017, which has included an extension and internal remodelling, resulting from their competitive tenders for the work. Owner Nick Boult was present and immersed in the project from start to finish, with pre and post meetings and regular communication including progress updates, based on the project schedule. We noted that he placed emphasis on ensuring the wellbeing of his staff and others in the vacinity through well-organised site preparation and health and safety steps including resourceful temporary measures as they arose. His team brought a wide range of skills to support the work, nowadays difficult to find, and coupled this with attention to detail together with his personal high expectations for achieving top quality. Nick responded well to emerging and unexpected issues to meet agreed deadlines and ad-hoc requests from the school, sometimes by redeploying his workforce, or by sourcing tradesmen (sometimes at short notice) such as electricians and plumbers. Parents, staff, pupils, visitors and governors alike have all commented on the magnificent transformation, and particularly like the bespoke oak carpentry, new fixtures and fittings and decor to compliment the modern building design. We would recommend Clark Lambert to others because they have proven to be trustworthy, able to work to schedule and operate with attention to tidiness. Nick and his staff always attended as promised and worked very hard, and nothing was too much trouble. Help and advice was always on hand, and Nick offered honest and expert opinions based on his experience (even when not of benefit to himself) to help resolve queries. As a school, we value contractors like Clarke Lambert who are able to demonstrate that they are safe to work in schools via DBS checks and that our high standards of courtesy, politeness and appreciation for our children's safety and learning is respected at all times.”
