Clarke Lambert has been trading since 1991, delivering building and maintenance services across the North West of England. The company was formally incorporated as Clarke Lambert Construction Ltd in 2016 (Company No. 10432764) and trades as Clarke Lambert Construction.
Our strength is in multi-trade turnkey delivery — managing every discipline from groundworks and structural alterations through to M&E, fire safety, decorating, and final fit-out. This single-contractor approach gives our clients one point of contact, cleaner programmes, and fewer coordination risks.
We specialise in working within live, occupied environments — schools during term time, care homes with vulnerable residents, and commercial buildings with ongoing operations. Our teams are SafeContractor approved, SSIP accredited, and trained to work safely alongside building users at all times.

I founded Clarke Lambert in 1991 with a straightforward ambition: to deliver construction and maintenance work to the highest standard, every time. Over 35 years that principle has guided every project we have taken on — from small maintenance contracts to full refurbishment programmes across schools, care homes, and commercial buildings throughout the North West.
As a family business, our reputation is everything. We do not win work on price alone — we win it because clients trust us to manage their project with care, communicate clearly, and hand back a building they are proud of. That trust is earned one project at a time, and we take it seriously.
I hold an HND and am IOSH qualified in Health and Safety. I am on-hand for every project and personally oversee the quality and safety standards that Clarke Lambert is known for.

Company DirectorNicholas has 35 years’ expertise working within the construction industry. He is IOSH qualified in Health and Safety and holds an HND. As Founder and Company Director, Nicholas oversees all operations and maintains the company’s commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

AdministratorHannah joined the family business in 2017, managing the day-to-day running of the office. She is qualified in business and administration.

SafeContractor is a SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) member scheme operated by Alcumus. Approval requires an annual third-party audit of our health and safety management systems, policies, risk assessments, and site practices. SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) is the umbrella body that coordinates mutual recognition between health and safety pre-qualification schemes in the UK. Our SafeContractor approval is recognised under the SSIP framework, meaning that clients and principal contractors using any SSIP-member scheme can accept our pre-qualification without requiring a separate assessment. This simplifies procurement and reduces duplication for both parties.

Garland UK
Clarke Lambert Construction is an approved contractor within the Garland UK system. Garland is a specialist manufacturer of flat roofing and waterproofing systems. Approved contractor status means our teams have been trained and assessed by Garland to install their systems correctly, and that installations can be backed by Garland's manufacturer guarantee. This is particularly relevant for flat roof refurbishment and waterproofing projects on commercial and education buildings.
